1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I tried survival on the one map with the long streets. I got a nice little camp spot and was doing good until I tripped over a couple of claymores.

Ya I love using claymores, but you definitely need to remember where you put them. A few times I've had to call Mauro over to revive me after killing myself on them...a couple times between rounds.

^^ yours don't kill you. in the later stages, "enemies" place them down.

i don't think they can. maybe i'm wrong. but right around level 20-25th if you listen at the start of a round, the guy will say "enemies are placing claymores"

I think you're allowed a certain allotment. In between rounds I'll hear them going off randomly as I'm placing more down. I think I've killed myself between rounds when I've placed one down and having a random one go off next to me, or by placing one down right on top of an existing one so it blows up. I don't know why, but I've died between rounds from claymores exploding and its not enemy ones because I'm placing them down behind existing ones from the previous rounds (can't be an enemy one because the enemy would've triggered the existing ones that didn't go off).
