Anthony Cleverley is nice but just too narrow at ball for me. So during last visit there I met Ben and George Glasgow Sr. himself. They suggested to extend heel stiffener for me and try to widen the ball. Wonderful people.

I've had no problem tying them.... I'm sure when you grow up you will also be able to learn how to knot a tie.

Just bought my first pair of Cleverleys - the Charles from Mr Porter. They look wonderful but feel tight on my left pinkie. I have an in-between normal/wide foot so fit fine in C&J 341 for example but this one feels snug. Any insight on if these open out a little or what C&J last they’re on, given it seems C&J makes their RTW line, so I can compare to previous experience (337?) would be much appreciated.

What size did you get? Also, can Cleverley London has a sale in June, correct? Can somebody get details?

Mr Porter was/is having a 50% off sale. Bought 8.5 UK, regular width (E?), same as my C&J size.

At Cleverly's recent New York trunk show, I had the trial fitting for what will be my first bespoke shoes.
Oxfords in Antique Bordeaux Calf.
I have no bespoke basis for comparison, but the fit is terrific.
Can't wait to see the finished pair in about 10 weeks.
