Narrow and long? Chucks run narrow and long.

What Dewey is saying sounds right, but I'm a d width and I can still size down 1 full size. I do think they would look best only sized down 1/2 however.

Also they are suede and barely held together with glue. It's not hard to mold them to your feet. Your little toe can easily push the toebox out over "the welt" if you want. It's not as painful as breaking in a sized-down shoe with sturdier materials & construction. I had a pair where my big toe separated the upper from the crepe for about an inch and I kept wearing them.

The width of the DB is most obvious in the heel. Get in there and measure how wide is the heel area, then compare the heel space to other shoes with the same size.

Crazy indeed, but one man's pos is another man's g-o-l-d.

They're nice shoes by the way! I have the black leather treks.

I have the brown suede and desert sand. The brown suede look great with khakis. The desert sand and beeswax look better with jeans.

Honestly, I hate the color of the beeswax model. It just looks too cheap to be considered seriously and reminds me something that Urban Outfitters would reproduce. That said, I have the brown and sand suede and I love both of them.

Not crazy, most people can probably wear more than one size of both. They are soft and squishy shoes.

So by now, after 128 pages, hasn't every conceivable question and concern about desert boots been addressed?

Listen, I'm not saying I don't appreciate when you take the time to make an informative post. For this I say thank you. Unfortunately, a good amount of your posts are annoying and pointless and make you come off as a smug, d-bag. For this I say no thank you.
