Any chance they'll ever remake that vintage one someone posted a while back in dark red? those were so nice.

Does anyone know how db sizing compares to dr. martens 1461 sizing?
In case anyone's interested (and since I didn't get any replies): My size US11 sand DBs fit about the same as my size US11 docs. The sand DBs are slightly longer and narrower, but I don't know if they'll stretch yet.

I couldn't really imagine kids skating around in DBs, but I guess posers could wear them and get laughed at by the skaters. That would be entertaining.

Go with black! Maybe you can pull off brown shoes and khaki pants but I surely couldn't!

They're nice shoes by the way! I have the black leather treks.

I'm too lazy to search this thread so I'm just going to ask: Where can I buy the cola colored boots outside of the UK?

Robert, I'm basically just saying what most people agree on, that the desert boots run larger than tagged. I don't agree with those who suggest going down a full size though- a half size is enough. Sizing down too much also somewhat compromises the shape, I think.

They run wide, not large. If you have wide feet, they are true to size. If you have narrow feet, you can size down.
