I would be interested in organizing a Chicago meet-up for later in September or in October. We could consider several options, e.g. a private room at a restaurant or at a place like the 316 Club (where I'm a member) but I'm open to other ideas.

I think we should stick to either the Loop or River North in consideration of guys who need to take the Metra.

PM me so I can gauge interest.

Office pants optional.

Perhaps.. If I can get my style up to par in time, still learning a lot and I don't want to be the double-pleated office pants guy.

(note - I don't really own double pleated office pants).

Anyway, how are the cuts at 316?

Flat front, reverse single-pleated or forward single-pleated office pants are also acceptable.

Please join us...I'll make an exception for a Hammer even though I am a Gooner (lame English Premier League joke there)

The cuts at the 316 Club are great - Deanna, Jana, Steph and the other stylists are terrific. Plus, Joanna is an excellent manicurist and Ramon does a fine job shining shoes. You can also get a old fashioned straight-edge shave.

Hrm.. An arsenal supporter, I may have to rethink this!

Thanks for the 316 info, I may consider that. Believe it or not, I've never paid anyone to shine my shoes, it's something I enjoy doing but I see it's included in membership, so definitely something to consider.

I'm in, although I'd rather had some food or a beer than try to talk while getting an expensive shave
