I have the same experience with patina calf. I prefer regular calf they age better.
Same here. Patina calf seems more delicate

I don't think you want Noir then. Black is black, noir is something else floating towards grey.Does anyone have experience with the Noir patina vs. black? I'm considering the wholecut MTO over on Skoak, but only black noir is available. As I'd like to occasionally be able to dress these up for black tie, I'm not sure Noir will work.
The Noir shadow is almost black with some lighter variances in it, whereas the Black is completely solid black.Does anyone have experience with the Noir patina vs. black? I appreciate the help. I assume I'd still get something short of true black with a few layers of black polish? I'm quite fond of the idea of a wholecut on the 389 and I haven't seen this offered anywhere else, so I'm trying to talk myself into the Noir working. Probably best to pass, but it can't hurt to ask.
How do people care for their patina shoes? I have read that using Saphir Ren will hurt the hand colored patina.
A couple of the CS offerings at Off 5th are 20% the already discounted price. I just picked up the Navy 3 eyelet derby for a hair over $120 bucks. Pretty hard to beat that deal.

If you have none and are in the US Sacks off Fifth has a few good models at the best price you are going to find and runs them on sale often for 20% off. Free shipping most of the time also...
