Hello,

I just bought my first pair of higher end dress shoes - a pair of Santoni 'Elliston' Oxfords (http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2907762/...o=6005047&P=1).

I was wondering what products I should use to care for these shoes and also if there is anything that will reduce the stretch marks from daily wear?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum micbain.
use shoe trees to keep your shoes in good shape for the insole and leather . stretching and creasing is inevitable, but trees will reduce wear (not creasing) at the crease areas when shoes rest and dry up after wear.

use a kiwi wax polish to initially polish up your shoes. thereafter , after every couple of wears, just use a leather lotion conditioner to lightly work in and buff to upkeep a lustre and suppleness in the leather.
enjoy your shoes

Thanks, it is nice to be here!

Any recommendations on a particular kiwi wax polish and conditioner to buy? There are a lot of different products on the market so I'll trust the recommendations of this forum!

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with them. Since its the summer in Vancouver, I can actually wear them without worrying about the weather (re: RAIN!).

if you go to your local shoe cobbler or grocery market (well, at least here in the states) you can find standard tins of kiwi wax polish in your desired color.
kiwi also makes a leather shoe conditioner lotion in a black plastic small little shampoo looking container. there is only one type from kiwi.

saphir has some good products as well, you can find those usually at the shoe cobbler.

Awesome! I'll take a look this evening. Also, the shoe trees are on the way.

This is a great website!
