care for leather sneakers?

i made the mistake of taking my new white pumas to a frat party and as a consiquense realize i dont know how to clean leather.
when i got back i threw on some windex which helped but i hope i dident hurt the shoes. any advice would be nice.

Assuming you're talking about regular leather, not suede, a mixture of about 15:1 water to woolite is a good solution for cleaning it. This is what auto detailers use on leather upholstery in cars, and it works quite well. Suede is a different issue entirely - I can't help you there.
