Graham, if it's a UK8E/US9D, send it my way and I'll report back.

Ben Silver's Albany doesn't have a medallion and this Japanese website shows style 9796, again w/o medallion.

^^^ Salsalocust, are they on the 337 last? Could they be on the 358 last? They look similar to style 5478.

I'm fairly certain those are not on the 358 last. I just got a pair of the Brunswick model, which is on the 358 last, ( they can be seen in the Shoe Damage thread) and those seem to be on a different last.

It's Cleverley RTW, cat no 64 from their website.

I should've picked up a pair in their winter sale, but was too busy sulking over them not having a particular semi-bespoke model in my size.

Tom @ LS said the Cleverly stuff was made on Cleverly specific lasts (not sure I'm sold on this yet).

Have to agree with the finding that this is a C & J made GC.... box definitely marked up as a 337 last and resocking is commonplace.

Should've thought of that! I e-mailed them about intl. orders for those during the winter sales. Never replied...

Might be true of their 'semi-bespoke' and 'Anthony Cleverley' rtw ranges. Iirc, it was confirmed that their regular rtw is all C&J made.

They could be for the Japanese market.

Reviving this thread to call on the experts.

I have the Edgmore on the 348 last in UK 8.5. I am considering a Wigmore on the 360 last in UK9. Ive heard the 360 is smaller, but anyone with experience? My Edgmores fit me perfect.

I'm bumping this. Can anyone provide some insight on 348 vs 360?

I've a narrow foot -- even the 348 UK 8.5 feels wide to me.

Hey Spoo,

My only C&J shoe is the Cranford (on 360 last). I can confirm that it really IS quite narrow in the toe area. I have wide feet, so it tends to be uncomfortable on me (even after some stretching). I can't compare with the 348 unfortunately since I don't own a pair. In considering another 360 shoe in the future, I will definitely go down half a size instead of the usual whole size conversion.

Is the Foster & Son RTW stuff made by Crockett & Jones then? I think the Cleverley RTW stuff is too. If so, that's a pretty good indication that C&J is the brand to plump for when buying RTW. Guess the leather quality is Handgrade - hence the price?
