Buying Samurai - Right Size for S0510XX

So am buying a pair of Samurai S0510XX from 2nd and want to make sure I get the right size for me. Waist is 34 measured, but I always go up to 36 because I have muscular legs and need the room. Should I get the 36's or the 38's in unwashed selvedge? Really want to make sure I get it all sorted before making the buy. Thanks for the help.
