Brown or black leather suitcase?

I'm in the market for a suitcase and am debating between a brown or black.

Anyway, it's going to be fairly expensive for me in the $1K plus range so don't think I'll be buying two. Do you find brown or black more useful? I wear black shoes more often but also do brown. Sometimes I wear suits, but of course not black ones.

Suitcase or manbag? If its a tote like the one you pictured, go with whatever color shoes you have more of in your wardrobe. If its a suitcase as you mentioned in the title, go with whatever is cheapest, unless you routinely fly business or first class, or own a private jet. (Own, not rent).
