I'm looking to start buying some decent quality shirts. I usually wear J. Crew, but decided to look into Brooks Brothers, as they offer a slim fit (Plus i think the quality is better. right?).
My question is; do you know how a medium in J. Crew would fit compared to the Brooks Brothers slim? The medium J. Crew shirts I have tend to be just a slightly too big for me, resulting in the shirt looking slopping around the waist. Any help would be great. Thanks

BB extra slim is just slightly larger than jcrew for me.

I wear a 16/36 in BB and a medium in Jcrew, but the sleeves are too short and the neck too small.

Collars are **** on all the Jcrew shirts I own. Bubbling after just a few washes. BB is definitely a step up.

I am 5'6" which is small but not comically small. an XS at Jcrew is fine, but BB extra slim fit in 14.5 is just too big.

Looking at some other threads, and based on your comments, I might want to look into the extra slim...Im about 5'9 and 170 pounds-- small or medium with the extra slim?

Measure your neck size. Medium is 15.5 inches, 21-22 in p2p.
