There is no statistical argument, Manning can have every relevant QB record if he wants to play Favre years. So what's the argument, wins? All time coach and great defense has immensely helped Brady. And Pats had actual stars on that side of the ball

    Ah another Marino fan.

Wait, are you saying the Colts don't have any stars on defense?
Do the names Bob Sanders (injuries the last couple seasons notwithstanding), Dwight Freeney, and Robert Mathis mean nothing to you?

The year the Colts won the Super Bowl, they did it with great defense in the playoffs.

    [IMG] at that alone.

    Also:
    Willie McGinest
    Tedy Bruschi
    Mike Vrabel
    Ty Law
    Rodney Harrison
    Richard Seymour
    Ted Washington
    Vince Wilfork
    Asante Samuel
    Lawyer Milloy

and you name Freeney and Mathis. Great sack artists but part of the reason Colts get whipped on the run is their tactics and the overall size of the D.

Regardless of what you say, to say that the Colts have won without any "stars" on "that side of the ball" is flat wrong.

For sure. Offense makes sportscenter, defense wins championships.
