Anyone have an opinion on Beam’s Old Tub for cheap well bourbon? Any suggestions for what cocktail it’s good in, if so? Thx

I usually don't drink Jack (it's been over a decade) so I was quite surprised by how good it was, all credit to the Group who picked it

I never drink the plain old Jack, but I love the single barrel. I had a few over the weekend (glasses, not barrels) and it is just a great sipping whiskey when done with a bit of water. The single barrel rye they do is also pretty damned fantastic. That said, I am a big fan of Tennessee whiskey and the Lincoln County process, so I may be biased.
