I saw some recent additions to the Bond style items on the net today, thought i'd post them. Also, the tie we've been hunting may actually be.....Ted Baker?

this basic info is posted on many sites, including jamesbondlifestyle.com

Turnbull and Asser are credited with supplying the formal shirts (handmade) and ties - though this has been disputed by T&A in LA who claim that Brioni supplied the formal shirts while T&A only supplied the dress shirt and tie. It's also known that Ted Baker. supplied at least two of the ties.

John Lobb supplied many of the shoes from their ready to wear collection. Lobb stated that 2 styles - Becketts and Luffield - were supplied for use in CR. However, from studying stills, others think Bond only uses different variants of the Luffield throughout the film. Bond also wore a pair of Lobb Romsey boots in the 'M's Apartment' scene. It's believed that the suede chukka boots used in the bathroom fight scene were also Lobb Romseys (in Tobacco Suede) but with an extra rubberised sole added by the production department (often done for stunt work).

Craig wears Converse Jack Purcell OTR Ankle boots (in the 'Chocolate and Paprika' colour option) during the Madagascar crane fight sequence. Interestingly, the orange flashes were blacked-out for the film.

Ted Baker supplied the linen 'mink' coloured trousers (worn in the Ocean Club & airport scenes) from their 2005 line.

S.T.Dupont (Paris) made the Casino scene cufflinks
Armani made the leather jacket (retail around $4000).

Eagle eyed fans have identified Nike Air Articulate II's being worn during the Venice chase scenes.

Richard Pell (at silvershopgifts.com) supplied Bond's silver money clip.

Interesting about the ties. I'd never heard that and that quite possibly could be the ever elusive blue and white check model. I'd like to find a pair of those Mink linen pants myself. Those are pretty cool. Anyone know where to get some Ted Baker old stock?

Marshalls typically has about 100000000 of them on any given day, IMMSMC.

Is the tie from the very last scene of CR made by Ted Baker? I tried to do a quick google search and I couldn't find anything.

As for the St. Dupont cufflinks, does anyone here know where I can still buy it? Believe it or not, I have been trying to hunt down the cufflinks. I called everywhere in NYC in December and everyone has sold out of the cufflinks. The store in Boston (forgot the name) was selling it for a premium. I think she quoted a $200 premium over the MSRP.

I spoke with airlineintl.com yesterday; apparently they're discontinued and going for quite the premium. Like just short of a grand...

Which one did you get?

Also, has anybody had luck ordering any of the Bond ties from the older movies from T&A in London? There's one from Goldeneye (blue tie worn with glen plaid suit early on) and there are two more from Tomorrow Never Dies (brown worn with grey suit and maroon(?) worn with blue suit).

It's black with red, gold, and silver geometric square designs. I believe they designed 3 different ones for Goldeneye.

during my somewhat recent trip to london, turnbull had a display for their bond items, and the geometric goldeneye tie was the only one they had left. whether or not they've restocked I don't know, though.

Has anyone had any luck communication with T&A in London by email? And if so, would you care to share the email address? Thanks.

Think you can grab a picture of it?

While on the subject of ties T&A told me Brioni made the tie we all know and love and Brioni told me T&A made it. Great knowledge.
