^^^I'm surprised to see TB is wearing socks. Most of the pics show him sans socks.

I never said I am a fan of the super short trouser inseams and sleeves, just merely commenting that the proportions of the jacket were done on purpose. I agree with your assessment of the waistcoat and another thing about TB that has always confused me is his insistence on his tie being long enough for the tip to be tucked into his trousers...

and to JayJay, I didn't even notice that he was wearing socks, quite unusual for TB.

The White on white/cream is brilliant looking, definitely a better choice than a white linen suit. Of the two choices the op offers, I'd go gray (but then again, I already own a blue/cream).

I prefer the blue pretty strongly. I love seersucker, but the grey is sort of meh to me.

If I were to buy a seersucker suit, it would be blue. There's something about the classic color that I really like.
