Black/ Navy socks with Dark Brown shoes?

I have suits in gray, navy and blue... I know I need to match socks with the color of the pants ...
But I tried gray and blue with navy/black socks and brown shoes... it looks okay to me...
Will it look bad?

Do you think I should wear gray/blue/navy socks to match my pants exactly?

Socks can match your shoes, socks can match your pants. Socks can match your tie, and socks can match your square. Socks can match it all, or socks can match none of the above.

You'll be fine. If you wish to match the socks with the pant colour you may. It is boring though.
Complimentary colours are fine. Crazy socks are even better. You only live once. Try Pantherella or Happy Socks for extra fun.
