Who has any experience with after-Thanksgiving sales at Woodbury Commons? Times? Specific stores? Deals? Do you think it'd be worth the hour and a half for the drive over, or would it be a totally horrific and pointless activity?

I've been there on normal weekdays, where the crowding wasn't too bad and the deals were mostly iffy; how much do each of those change come two days from now?

Go the weekend after. Unless you like 5 hours of traffic, 4 hours of looking for a parking spot, 3 hours in line and have copious amounts of patience. Or are drunk.

He's right, it's pretty much pointless. The money you might save isn't worth the stress and time your going to deal with.

I couldn't imagine the traffic, lines and overall turmoil on BF. I was there two Saturdays ago, sales were underwhelming outside of Gap/BR due to a 30% off coupon ontop of 30-40% off already. Barney's outlet did have all suits marked down to ~$500 (Hickey, Burberry, etc..)

Anyone know what sales are being run at outlet/factory stores this time around?

J Crew: 40% off lowest marked

I have to unfortunately agree with the general sentiment of this thread. Too many people wanting to get 10, 20% off stuff for hours of wait. Including potentially yourself. Not worth it.

what I find hilarious are people who go to Woodbury to go to the Gap Outlet, and such.

It sort of is.

It's the mecca for savvy shoppers who are into the super-high end stuff like Brunello Cucinelli, Loro Piana....etc.

If you are the average person shopping at the Brooks Brothers Outlet or the Gap Outlet, don't bother going to Woodbury.

There's even a Brioni outlet, although the selection was truly pitiful.

my picture sums up woodbury. Dont believe the hype. My best finds (98% off some things, seriously) were found in the off season - February, August. etc.
