Yeah, to beijingers taiwan accent = girly ******-speak with no testicles, in taiwain beijing accent = ... well, terrible. Which it actually is.

Mandarin spoke in mainland is more "accurate", at least in some cities, not in the south where canto sneaks in, but sounds absolutely terrible for the most part. beijinghua: "Shhhhrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr shhshshhshrrrrrrhrhrshhh" rough translation. In my opinion at least.

I like Dong Bei hua spoken by girls, but don't like Beijing Hua spoken by anybody. Ask a taxi driver to go someplace even relatively obscure and it will sound like they're belching "Aaaarrr? Brrdddddrrrrrraaaa! Brrrddddrrrrraaaaaaaa!" (while shaking head angrily) Fat northern Chinese look and sound like jabba the hut
