more of a football movie than a high school movie, but i nominate varsity blues for no other reason that Ali Larter's presence in the film. God damn was she cute and her accent was adorable. Whipped cream bikinis for teh win!

I also think its a vastly underrated "football" movie. Reminds me of Texas.

True. I think the stink of Dawson's Creek had to wear-off for me to give the movie any credit. Jon Voight is great in it.
