Bare in mind, however, that you're comment above is what business people in some countries say in order to justify paying 200% more money for the same product ("No, it's not branding, it's quality of construction. That's why you're paying $120 for Levis 501s instead of $40).

They also run a program using domestic fabric cut, sewn and washed in Mexico which for the price is very good.

not all LVC are made in the US, a lot of the construction has been outsourced to Turkey IIRC.

Also important is the quality of the denim/where that's from. Biggest reason to buy LVC and such if you ask me is for the Cone Mills denim.
