Dopey, do you have bespoke tragedies in your past? It is time to let the skeletons out of the closet (no this is not about manton).

There are examples. As one not mentioned, I had a $15 thrifted jacket in college made from a long-defunct Harris tweed pattern. Pea soup background, with windowpanes of grey, white, and sky blue. I called it my Puke-colored Jacket and treasured it, among other reasons, for the fact that it went equally well with anything else I might wear.

My real bespoke tragedy, which I am slowly coming to terms with disposing of, is a Dege sportcoat that fit badly from the start and which they charged me to alter and it still fit badly. I don't have any photos of me wearing it, though. That wasn't the end of my relationship with Dege, but it was the beginning of the end. Their poor handling of the matter put me mentally 85% out the door; some non-deliveries and poor follow up, combined with the news of staff departures did the rest.

Ok, I am sorry I brought this up. I did not mean to send you back all the way through that valley of tears. Think of something nice. Cheer up! Think of horseblanket jackets. Anne h. of lolkwilkies
