Shipping within Canada: $8.99

So a $5 book in the US (which would be about $4.75 CAD) is actually $15 in Canada.

And btw, my healthcare in the US is far better and far cheaper than it was in Canada.

Reading posts like this remind me of how happy I am I moved to the US from Canada.

Unjung, you seem to be a lad with some marketable talents. Why not move south too?

Aside from missing the obvious hyperbole in my post... a Canadian making minimum wage doesn't have to worry about bankrupting themselves if they are suddenly stricken with a serious health problem.

I'm just saying there is give and take as a Canadian and I try not to get too *****hurt about it.

I'm trying to build a portfolio of skills and contacts that will allow me to be a bit of an "international businessman." I enjoy visiting the US a lot and would like to earn income there. And buy a place along the Oregon coast.

This shows how much knowledge you lack. An American making minimum wage would be deemed medically indigent and qualify for...wait for it...the state run, government health program in their locality.

I'd much rather be "*****hurt" than an ill informed idiot.

Everytime I go to the US I'm reminded about how much I hate being ripped off so much up here. Then I listen to christian talk radio and feel a bit better. It's a catch 22.

If it's a used book then is it Amazon or somebody using the Amazon website? Used books look at Abes. http://www.abebooks.com/ Those foreign companies are all crooks. Remember to count your fingers after dealing with an American company.

Thanks for the link, looks good. Generally I'd prefer to order from the US, if they would just ship USPS regular! Edit - Actually, awesome link. Bought four books from my Amazon wishlist for $28 total. Would have been about double that from Amazon.
