Budget: under 2000 Needs: Queen bed, dresser, night stand, mirror any suggestions?? btw i'm in mass so if i can buy it locally it would be a plus so far this is what i have found that i liked most http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...BL._SS500_.jpg

First off - the words "bedroom" and "set" belong in only your parents' vocabulary. Your bed doesn't have to (and shouldn't) match the rest of the furniture in the room.

I dont think this is something you're going to come across online as easily as if you just went out to hunt for things. If you read in bed, an upholstered headboard might be prefered (don't get it in microfibre...that's tacky). Make sure the bedside table is the right height for the bed (obvious, but some don't factor in the different thicknesses of mattresses). Platform beds like the one in your pic are handy because you'll save on a boxspring...that one doesn't look like sitting up in bed would be comfortable though.

Only my 2 cents of course...get whatever you want.

I agree matching all the furniture in a room looks terrible. You can work with many styles or designs. Some work great together. My bedroom is a mix of Louis the 16th, Rococo and some antique asian **** for good measure.
