I now regret not buying more Pediwear Paragon range cap oxfords when I had the chance. Should have bought like 3 pairs and rotate through them for the next 20 years. Just had a look on their site, doesn't seem like they bother making them anymore. GBP100 is a bargain for those shoes. Only size 6 and 12 left now :(

Hello All - has been a long time since I last here and I hosted the BNE SF Meetup at Tattersalls Club. Cannot believe it was that many years ago. New job, new suits, ties from the Armoury, new Meermin Order, its all good!!.

Quick question for the gurus in BNE, ie Journeyman and Co. I have a couple of suits that need tailoring, ie I have lost weight trying to survive in the mining sector and in new role will wear suit everyday. Who are the good tailors here now, used to be Ashley and Shroeder did it not? Not sure if they still up there in the new Lennons dig.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Oh, and, when are we all catching up again. Another BNE SF Meetup at Tatts must be on the cards soon??

@Windowpane1967 - great to hear from you and I hope that all is well!

Ashley and Schreder are good for simple alterations (ie hemming trousers etc) but for anything more complex, I'd go to Regent Tailors.

Regent and Ashley and Schreder are now in the same building - the T&G Building on the corner of Queen and Albert Streets in the middle of the mall, opposite Hungry Jacks. It's the building with the "alleyway" around the back with Little Singapore and Avanti in it.

Let me know when you've got some free time, as it would be lovely to catch up and have a chat.

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for formal vneck sweaters for office use, similar to this one I posted in the newbie thread:
http://www.styleforum.net/t/474830/...ic-menswear-wk-of-apr-13-2015/30#post_7817642

I came across the sweater in a microsoft video so I don't have a HQ picture of it but it looks incredibly fitted and unlike the regular sweaters we see. Can someone let me know where I can find something similar in Sydney? Budget is around $50-$150.

^ Are you near a Uniqlo?

I haven't tried any of their Australian products, but their Japanese V-neck jumpers are cut pretty slim and they are very well priced, so I'd say that they are worth a look.

Well, with stretchy fabrics, you can always just size down to get a more snug fit. Uniqlo is a good option though.
90% of my casual wear is Uniqlo.

Anyone here ever handled a shoe by Jalan Sriwijaya? They seem to be good value for about 300 bucks.
