^^ That looks a bit short? Maybe just a tall model.

If the weather's drab enough to warrant a rain mac, you want to cover your thighs a bit IMO.

Speaking of Macs I really must put my Jack Spade one up on B&S for one of you guys for this winter. It's practically brand new and i never use it.

Considering I got it in Japan, it may well be short.

Oli - it's comme des garcon.

Also, I tend to wear pants at the hip rather than waist - unfortunate byproduct of having a very skinny waist and long legs that doesn't let me buy OTR unless I wear at the hip.

Anyone know if these soles are replaceable with some vibrams or something? No cobblers avail. in Darwin but I might get some new soles stitched on if I fly interstate. They're wool lined Buttero's, and I'm worried the crepe sole will wear out quickly/not be suitable.

Huh? How does this work. Inseam doesn't follow waist size.

What a great night it was!!

Really good to catch up with everyone and the new HB store looks very good. Tempted to make my first non-sale purchase!

What a great night out. Really ace to see everyone. HB was looking great. You were fantastic polishing shoes Gerry.

It was an enjoyable event - Pommery bubbles, good Dixieland band and I liked the juggler.

Personally I think HB could have made a killing by offering a store-wide 10% (say) discount on the night. But I suppose they are expecting us all to turn up over the next week or so, plastic in hand...

Some cool fits too.

I think the real question is, why do you need wool lined boots in Darwin?
