I checked and my friends have not had any problems with the MAF sensors. I think it is more of an urban myth.

It's good to see K&N standing behind their product, but I still would not use their product based on their questionable gains, and their inferior filtering.

#1 Even if a K&N can flow more air, stock air filters flow more than enough air for stock power.
#2 How do K&N filters flow more air? By letting more of everything in. Less filtering = more air, but also more junk. I like to keep junk out.
