Alright guys, he's a threath for all topics anthropological in nature.

I'll start with one curiosity. Why are aliens, gods, and ghosts, basically all things "mysterious" often assume a humanoid appearance?

Most imagined entities are either bestial, humanoid or a combination of bestial and humanoid.

It could be that the laws of evolution require similar conditions as that of earth for intelligent life to evolve, and the human form is a likely one for an intelligent being on a planet with earth like conditions to evolve towards.

It could be that we were made by god(s) in their own image so we look like gods rather than gods look like us.

Probably because we instinctively use ourselves as a frame of reference. You have to make a conscious effort to break free of that reality tunnel in order to express those concepts in non-anthropomorphic terms (H.P. Lovecraft and his buddies were very good at this - check out some of their descriptions of their Great Old Ones and their various servitor races).

Choices for non-humanoid clothes are extremely limited.
