I am bumping, because I too am interested.

The price points give me limited optimism about quality considerations that most SF members would prefer. Nevertheless, any knowledge about the brand and the items is helpful.

Note that according to the web site the present name follows after a change from a former one, Walker & Gunn.

I got their navy chelseas.
I was attracted more by the colour than by name reputation, build quality etc.
I really like ‘em. I believe they are Blake rather than GYW so may not stand up to hard wear as much as GYE brands but as I have four other pairs of chelseas among numerous other shoes it’s not like they’ll get a daily battering from me.

See pics and read about them here along with similarly priced Meermins in soft calf with ‘city soles’ ...

A quick look at the sole, which is leather with a rubber mid-section and has exposed stitching all around, and it says “LAVORAZIONE BLAKE - VERA CUOIO - MADE IN ITALY”

I have no doubt yours is Blake if you say so. I was only noticing that some are GYW.
