The big craze at my school is cuffing your tapered jeans, which is something you do because you're a bicyclist, not because you think it looks cool imo. Aside from them, however, everyone is either wearing the same crappy cargo shorts or the same crappy board shorts (why would you own board shorts in Washington?). There are really nice looking shorts, and aside from the pleats, I really like the first guy, but all the good looking shorts are way out of the price range of anyone I know.

The pleats with the taper make those shorts work for me. Shorts need visual interest other than cargo pockets, which is all I've seen for the past seven (?) years.

I wasn't wearing shorts for two years, even in 100+ degree weather, until I made a pair of slim JORTS out of old ES Filsons. Even though they have a huge hole **********, I can't stop wearing them. Mmm.
