Are window pane suits totally over?

Is it just me, or are window pane suits over?

I keep seeing suits from fine Neapolitan tailors at good prices, and they never seem to sell. I know there's a recession and all that, but I think it's just because the pattern is a fad that is looking dated already.

Maybe I live in a cave, but I was not aware that they had been en vogue in the first place. They've been around for a long time, and so they shall stay. But if you are correct, then you might as well buy in now so that you can be ready when they "come back" in 20 years.

I never did like window pane suits much with a couple of exceptions. If the trend is over then I will be sad because it always made it easier to tell the guys that tried too hard by the way they wore one.
