Are these shell cordovan?

Moogoo - I recently bought a similar vintage in a 9.5E and yours look quite the same (from the pics, anyway). Looks like shell to me. Even if they aren't as nice as you think, now you can dump those ****** India-made shoes.

Good to know. It's funny but those India made shoes are my most comfortable ones and the ones I wear in ****** weather.

My wife hates them, but when my feet hurt that's what I wear.

If you're unemployed with tens of thousands of dollars worth of custom clothing in your wardrobe, you might be an igent.

If you bid on other people's smelly, used shoes on ebay because they resemble something you saw on the internet, you might be an igent.

If your 700 sq-ft apartment is too small to hold all your Rubincacci suits and Alden longwings on the plaza last, you might be an igent.

Yeah, I'm not an expert (well, tbh I've never actually seen cordovan other than over the internet), but those look nothing like shell to me...

Because of the padded heels (shell is too stiff for this kind of padding to be possible)

you bring the lulz, good sir. We need a Moo smiley. By the way, the shoes came and they are shell but the shoelace holes are tearing. I'm returning them - the seller is very gracious.

Definitely not. I love how the seller puts "Shell Cordovan?" with a question mark in the description of the item, as a nice cover-his-ass bit in case the buyer gets angry.

But I do give the seller props for offering a refund if they turn out not to be shell. They are not, but maybe the seller is honestly not sure about it.
