Anyone seen Faded501s???

Has anyone talked too or seen Faded501s (Scott) online recently? The reason I ask is that I purchased a pair of RL sandals (http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=34269) from him that were supposed to be shipped weeks ago and they have not arrived. I have tried PM'ing and and emailing him but have had zero response. Paypal payment cleared on May 2nd, and he emailed saying he was shipping the next day. I have not heard anything since.

I certainly do not want to wrongly accuse a member of any wrongdoing, I'm simply wondering if somebody knows if he is out of town on business or what? I find it odd that he would not respond however, because I remember him being "on business" when we were negotiating the sale of the sandals in late April and his communication was constant.

I am in Canada, so it is possible the shipment could be snagged in customs or such, but I with no response from faded501s I am weary. To make this worse, this is my first online purchase, and I am certainly a little weary.

Can you reccomend what you would do in this situation. Thanks.

Jordan, All you have to do is click on a members' name and you can see all of their posts since the beginning of time...my most recent being on the 13th. You sent me a message yesterday to which I just replied. I'll be home tomorrow and can hopefully provide a tracking number. Like you say, they're probably stuck in customs. Talk soon, Scott.

Canadian custom is a *****. I only get a little worried after 3 weeks. I almost never get hit with any customs duties nor any indication that it was looked at, but packages usually take upwards of 2 weeks if sent by USPS.

Thanks for the reply, I wasn't in a state of panic, just a little worried. Like I said, first time with the whole online purchase thing. When I sent you the email Saturday, and never heard back, I tried this route yesterday, and looking at your history, I noticed you normally posted everyday. Hence my concern. I completely understand the paypal email wasn't your main email. I'm resting much easier now

And thanks Cory for the heads up on Cdn Customs. I know they can be slow. I'm sure that is the delay. It's been almost 2 weeks since it was shipped, so hopefully this week sometime.

Again, my apolgies Scott, did not mean to question your reliability as a seller on the forum. I am still very much looking forward to these sandals.
