The placing of the top buttons is slightly unfortunate, but if you want a peak-lapelled odd jacket, you want a double-breasted blazer like that one. The other two are suit jackets and suit jackets only. A DB blazer may not be for casual Friday, but it's smashing with most of your basic trousers.

God help us.

Plenty of peak odd jackets. All the older guys are wearing them. If you're young and fashion forward then to stick to notches. But the 50 plus gang seems to be wearing nothing but peaks .

would it be absurd to remove the "brass nipples" on that jacket, or should i just keep looking for a better alternative?

It looks as though the buttons could be made 4 instead of 6 without upsetting anything?
maybe?

On the DB, just move the top two buttons in and down a bit. It will be fine.

I picked up a Kiton DB off of eBay and love it.
