Any reasonably priced high rise denim for men, athletic cut?

Frankly I can't find anything. For me high-rise denim is 11-11.5 front rise denim. Dark wash.

The only thing I know of is wrangler's cowboy cut and I can't get any detailed measurements from the CS team, and I don't like waste and ordering a bunch of sizes.

I'd also rather not deal with hit/miss sizing with raw denim either.

I'm ok with spending up to $150USD.

Check out naked and famous easy guy

Thanks for the tip man.

I looked into it, and all the jeans have their own sizing that varies even within that fit, and they consider 0.5" to be within range for tolerance. Everything is basically sold out in my size or 250USD+.

I've been researching this exact question over the last while. In your price range, I would recommend the Left Field NY "Atlas" cut, Japan Blue "High Tapered", or Unbranded 6xx. At a higher price point, you have Momotaro "Natural Tapered", Rogue Territory "Strider", the Flat Head "#3012", or (priciest) Iron Heart "888." All have an 11" rise or higher, and a pretty good waist-thigh ratio.

Thanks man.

Looks like I'll have to deal with raw denim after all.

Do I size up a full size? Any way to prevent fading and keep the colour dark?

I never understood sizing for raw denim.

Edit: Seems like Atlas carries rinsed denim, this is what I need.

I'm sure others are far more knowledgeable than I am, but the rule of thumb I've used is to find the pair that is somewhat too tight around the waist, but comfortable everywhere else. The waist will stretch about 1-1.5" but the rest won't stretch all that much. I typically either stay my normal size or even size down by one.

You're welcome- I'm just glad the research will help more than just me.

Hmm, looks like I will have to contact their CS, waist sizing sounds like the exact opposite of normal cotton pants.

Atlas also seems to carry regular rinsed dark denim which sounds like it will work for me.

Railcar Fine Goods (USA), they took their regular athletic fit, and added 2" to both rises for me (front and back). Fit to a tee; only company that was willing to do it, without upcharge, as everything is made to order. They are using what's left of the NC White Cone Mills fabric they acquired for some of their jeans. Rest is coming from two of the main JP Selvedge factories.

IronHeart doesn't make anything with that type of rise (888s are low rise in my eyes), not even in OG Levi's are front rise 15"-16".

I nixed most other brands as the pricing starting getting cuckoo for coco puffs.

I have a 29" inseam and I am 6'5". No one makes pants in my size OTR, except for Cordings in the UK (specifically in corduroy).

Hmm, do they have detailed sizing charts? I can't seem to find any.

Yes, it should be listed under each pair of jeans; they have been modifying their website (last I checked) with the store being closed at the moment. They may not have put the charts back up. They should be answering email (and no I'm not a shill, they actually took care of me).

All good man, you don't have to justify yourself to me.

As long as I have options to look into, I'll do it.

I'm shocked no one mentioned toddshelton.com yet. Maybe a bit more than your budget, but close.

Calling @Todd Shelton
It adds up quick unfortunately, Todd Shelton's was the first place I looked. I should add I live in Canada.

$275USD=$387 CAD at the moment.

$150USD=$211CAD
