I need help with creating a page incorporating frames. Nothing complex at all, but I'm having a little trouble with it. Anyone willing to give me a couple minutes' help?

The correct answer, albeit one you may dislike, is to stop using frames and to never use them again, unless you are developing something for people who have vision problems and rely on screen readers.

Post what you're having trouble with.

so all I am trying to do is create a 2 framed page: basically a sidebar on the left with links and a main window on the right that houses a 'home' page and will show each site from the sidebar when the link is clicked.

Can someone help start me out with the code?

Oh, that's super easy... you need 3 basic pages:
-The main index page that will call the other 2 pages contained within
-The sidebar page
-The homepage

Basically, the main index page will have something like this:
<frameset cols="PIXEL WIDTH OF SIDEBAR SECTION,*">
<frame src="sidebar_filename.htm" name="menu">
<frame src="homepage_filename.htm" name="main">
</frameset>

Then for the links in the sidebar html file you make, you put target="main" in each of the anchor tags to make sure the link opens in the "main" window.
