Are there any napolitean members of this board that could proxy cappelli ties? Anyone heading to naples any-time soon?

Yeah but i'm looking for the repp type ones; will has some great prints, but im looking specifially for a blue/red repp tie!

Mina Adamo of Napoli Su Misura travels to NY every 4-6 weeks and carries a good selection of Cappelli's. Just email her and see if she can hook you up.

That would normally be my first option - but unfortunately i live in seattle, Washington

If you're looking for a proxy anyway, what difference does it make? You would simply have to email Mina and ask her for a Cappelli blue/red repp in a certain width and with a certain interlining.

In either case, you wouln't have an opportunity to see / feel the goods prior to purchase.

Comparable to Cappelli - Italian friends of mine were impressed with ones they saw. +1 on the customer service point. Email is better, as he does his business in the real world.
