Is it just me walking in these shoes wrong? My first time walking in these shoes and they weren’t cheap. Any tips to avoid excessive wear. I’ve attached some pics.

Nothing to worry about. The leather is going to wear. And few people walk perfectly so just about everyone will have uneven wear. That's why quality shoes are re-craftable. It's also why you don't wear the same pair of dress shoes everyday. But every leather soled shoe is going to be scuffed to heck in places. Just a reality

Soles are only pristine until you walk on them that first time. The wear looks normal. You can always have a topy installed or have metal toe taps installed if you're rough on the toes of your shoes.

Make sure you have shoe trees for them, and polish and conditioner. Otherwise you will ruin them with continuous wear ;)

Toppys do not keep soles pristine. The glue often used to attach toppys will tear the leather or at best remove the finish once worn and replaced.

Just got two Shoe Trees off amazon. Would you recommend I put the other pair in the LV moccasins i'm wearing in the pic? or will it stretch? also recommendations on polish and conditioner?

If the tree fits easily in the moccasin and doesn't seem like it'll stretch it then why not. But that material won't wrinkle like leather so I wouldn't say it's needed.

I use Saphir products: renovateur for conditioning, cream polishes for color and wax for a shine. Other options include Burgol, Meltonian, VSC, and TheShoeSnob makes a line of products also. Amazon will have horsehair brushes but you'll have to source the polishes elsewhere.
