Would anyone know of a good tailor in Dutchess county NY
or in Westchester County NY. Some trousers turned/hemmed, some suits fitted and some jackets buttonholes made.

Should we have a handy dandy HOF for experiences w/tailors. Maybe put the state in the heading so that it is easy to scan through.

I second that.

This is one of the most frequently asked questions. There should be a centralized thread for tailor alternation recommendations and experiences.

I'd like to know who's the best for working button holes, shortening sleeves from shoulder and at what cost.

I would also like to know a good tailor in the Westchester area.  I have brought around a suit I would like to have altered, and no one wants to touch it.

It's a great idea to put tailor alternatio experiences on HOF. I'd to have a list of recommended tailors in my area.

Funkyprez, what's is it that nobody wants to touch your suit?
