However, I have heard many of the Russian posters say that such flare is less than rare in Russia. Many over there opt for extravagant details like that to make a stylish statement. Personally I think they can look pretty bad ass. However, they need to accompany a certain personality and look. Again, see Victor's shot for what I mean.

EDIT: For the record, I think they look like **** on the jacket in your pic. You need a rich, expensive fabric.

There is chance to see an alligator bomber lined with fur or mink in the wild sometimes.
I know about a guy who ordered about 10 alligator Artioli shoes and boots at one stop.
It can only be seen in big cities or in the southern part of the country.
