Allen Edmonds Shelby sizing question

Hello,
Im looking to get a pair of AE Shelbys (loafers) and am curious about how they fit. I usually wear a 8 1\2 or 9 in allen edmonds and am wondering if i should go a whole size down and order an 8. Thank you for your input ~

The three most important dimensions of fit on AE shoes (or any dress shoe) is
1. Size
2. last
3. width

So, if you wear a 65 last, EEE width, size 8, you need to figure out how closely another pair of shoes matches these fits. If the shoes you're considering are EEE size 8, but built on a different last, they may fit quite differently.

I strongly encourage you to visit a brick-and-mortar AE store try them on first.
