I just placed my MTO order with Allison.
She is a pleasure to work with.
I think she needs a raise.
This group has been running her ragged the past few weeks.

In any case..8 weeks until the unlined black shell Daltons with minilug soles.
Cant wait.

I could not agree more. I don't think they will ever revoke the "No MTO" fee for SF members. I would love to know how many orders were placed!

Nice choice!!

I just place my MTO with Allison too!

Strand in Independence Burnished Walnut Upper & Lining
Wheeled Welt and edge like the Jefferson
V-Tread Tap Sole
Mismatched sizes so my feet stay happy.
8 weeks to go!

Also a picture of a Standard Bayfield and a Bayfield with no midsole, don't worry they got fixed and my feet are very happy.

Nice. Need to see some "in the wild" pix, but this tone reminds me of my "brown" shell townleys:

Yea...my iphone and desktop lighting doesn't do the color any favors.

I'll be calling her for one of those tomorrow. Full details on what you went with would be appreciated please.

Thanks, evolved. I went with the JR sole, light brown transparent edge dressing and a chili split reverse welt.

I went pretty "boring" and standard with my choice:

- Dark Brown Burnished Calf
- Brown Split Reverse Welt
- Standard leather outsole
- Light brown transparent sole edge dressing
- Tone on tone stitching
- Standard Coffee Lining
- Standard leather insole

I have no idea what the Independence lining looks like (only that it's softer) hence why I didn't commit to that.
Also, wasn't sure if I wanted the tap sole or not, I ended up just getting the leather sole.

Doesn't sound boring to me! Now the wait...haha

Very nice! I think I pictured it being a lighter, more natural welt. Allison told me that the chili split reverse with light brown transparent edge dressing is what's on the Neumok and what you have there looks much darker than what's on the Neumok (below).
