I think they’d go with tan chinosNeat idea, but if those are unlined kiss every pair of socks you have goodbye. Or wear them with only black or navy.

Oh no!!! Interesting thoughtUp til the indigo dye turns them into tan and blue chinos.
Oh no!!! Interesting thought
Yeah that is an important warning! The idea is great, but... I would hope the shoes are lined though, but could still ruin some pants legs! Also... rain?Don't get me wrong i dig the shoes completely. But if my truman kudu boots are any indicator, that indigo wears off like CRAAAAAZY for a while. a fella would ruin a fair number of socks (and probably a few pant cuffs) just with sweaty feet.

I don’t own cargo shorts anyway! I’m not likely to buy though. I’m staying away from leather soles right now.Definitely reserved for sockless summer's day. I'd rock the **** outta those things on a sunny summer day with nary a cloud in the sky.
but not with cargo shorts. oh god the humanity.
Curious which welt and sole you chose for the Hamilton? I'm thinking of getting in Grey or Loden, myself!for those tracking over/under on my target net gain of 6 shoes in 2020:
