Ok gentlemen, I am a couple months away from a tropical beach-side event. My wife and I are going to renew our vows (didn't know they expired!) and I was considering a new tan or off-white linen suit. Let's have a discussion on what sort of suit/shirt/shoe combo would be great for water and sand.

His comment kinda through me off, sizing up a length OR width. Makes me wonder. Also, does that insert have appreciable permanent deformation/compression? Maybe it would be more apparent if I saw them in person.

Probably so; it's likely a shorter trip for you than my long drive to nearest AE shop (that will only have D widths).

That would be slick. I know they don't work for you (and sell out), but I really like my wheat/honey colored Spier linen suit. Just make sure it's un- or quarter-lined!

2018 shoe revival challenge

Any way to refurbish a pair of camp Mocs? I have the northland from AE and wear them all the time. After two years they don’t look great. They have a chromepak leather on them that’s oiled. I don’t think you can put polish on them.
