Nice! What last are those on? The chisel or soft square? Guessing the former, but they look softer in some photos.

Thanks! They have definitely stepped up their game and AS HG shoes are my most comfortable right out of the box.

It's museum calf.

If you're not available to be measured by Chay, then I understand the trial shoes. But he is an awesome fellow and does great work!

Sorry I missed this.

I requested an antiqued sole edge (sole edge color is very important to me) but I do trust Chay when it comes to detail. So when they showed up like this at first I was all ???

Then, taking the whole concept into consideration and after showing them to my wife, I agreed that the darker brown welt painting not only highlighted the edge detail but created a nice visual break point between the upper and the sole.

If I had a small gripe it would be that I wish the sole edge didn't protrude out on the side as much (a la G&G Deco range) toward the side and front, (when looking down from the top) but it's something that I can live with.

As far as pricing all I will say is that those who jumped at the opportunity to support AS early on definitely benefit.

Gentlemen,

Since I am neither affiliated with Leffot, nor Alfred Sargent, (but I am sincere admirer of the shoes) I thought I would post this link to the new handgrades being displayed at the trunk show. I wish I could make it. I think the new sole spectacular and wish I could see it in person.

I think the loafers particularly brilliant.
