Just send a email to their customer service. They are nice folks.

Here is a detailed discussion over at Ask Andy.
http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/f...rooks+brothers

The consensus was as follows:
BB Tassel loafer = Aberdeen
BB Penny unlined loafer = Van
BB Blucher = Barrie
BB Straight tip = Aberdeen
BB Perforated cap toe = Snap
BB Wingtip bal = Plaza

I have Alden black cap toes on the Hampton last, and Alden for BB black cap toes, and they are definitely not the same. The BB ones seem bulbous and rather inelegant.

Yes. The BB perforated captoes look very different from Alden Captoes, which I have. Alden also confirmed to me that the BB shell perforated captoes are on the snap last. and the BB wing tips are on the M-75 last which is Brook Bros exclusive last, but similar to Plaza. Tassel loafers are on the aberdeen last but the alden version seems a little sleeker than the BB version.

It's my opinion that the lasts have changed on some of the shoes over time. No easier way to explain the disagreement, say, on the LHS. Probably some have van-lasted BB LHS and others have copley-lasted BB LHS. What they are now, who knows.

Alden has always answered my questions about my BB shoes when I email them the model number printed on the inside.
