From what I know the the barrie an tremont last are supposed to be similar. I have the longwings in the 9.5D which fit well, I have a plain toe Blucher in 10D which fits pretty well (a tad loose, but the 9.5D was too tight on the side of my foot), I have a split toe boot that fits well in a 9.5D and some classic cordovan wingtips in 10D (tremont last, a little loose but 9.5 D seemed tight).

Question is are all these variations normal within the same/similar lasts or when shoes feel a little tight as in the case of the 9.5D plain toe Blucher, does one just need to bite the bullet and attempt to break them in?

Is it really necessary to open bunch of threads related to Alden shoes? There are hundreds of threads related to Alden. Moreover, there is a thread dedicated to Alden only in SW&D,you can find pretty much any info there. Did you bother to check it?

Forex: I looked and couldn't readily find an answer. If you don't have any relevant information, please simply skip my post and don't reply. It doesn't give you a right to be rude just because you have 4,000+ posts.
