I don't mean to discourage you. They can do some good work and they fix stuff when they make a mistake (happily, in my experience). But stitching quality is not the same as the original if that is what you want.

I concur Dopey - You are not going to get the same as original and I have had some issues along the way (which they have always corrected).

I have been using Eneslow quite a bit in the past 18 months and have been very happy with their work. They are a bit more expensive than Moulded shoe and their focus is going to be a bit more functional than fashion... What I mean here is that you can get excellent leather dress soles but I'm not quite sure they are going to have stock materials for commando or double-leather sole. I always see German when I go go Eneslow - he runs the custom department.

They do usually stock e widths; not sure about eee. I doubt that.

I inquired a few years ago - They do not stock EEE. Also - Alden will not make ML last boots in EEE... You will need to go with another last if you need 'em very WIDE

I would say so. Same sizing works for me, Barrie 8.5D/Modified 8.5D

This is what I do as well, 9.5D on the Hampton, 8.5E on the Modified.

An 8 in modified will have more room in the forefoot and will have a "tighter" heel cup, and will have the higher arch. I can do a 10.5D in barrie, but easily a 10D in modified. In boots, I prefer 10.5e in barrie, while even a 10D can have enough room for my wide forefoot in the modified. So...they will fit, but depending on your foot, you may not get a snug forefoot.

For me, I got 1/2 size down from my Barrie size, but stay at the same D width. I used to go with my Barrie size but I found them too roomy that way even with thick socks.
