advise for buying a suit for a wedding in London, but to be wearable to work as well

Hi there,

A friend wants some advise on what sort of suit to get for a wedding this saturday, with the view of wearing this suit to work. I so seldom wear a full suit ( I live in suit trousers and shirts) so I am a bit lost of what to recommend regarding the lapel shape etc etc etc

I think forgetting about the use for a wedding entirely and focusing on a smart suit for work would be a better idea. This person is the least stylish person I have ever met in my life, but he runs his own very successful rapidly Growing company.

We will be in knightsbridge area with a budget of £500ish

What would you recommend?
