i prefer 5 x 5 in escalating reps, otherwise why not just do cluster reps?
it is based on rest-pause and is supposed to increase motor unit recruitment. basically, do 5 reps at 85% of 1rm, rest 15-20 second, then do it again.
Hmm, sounds fun. It sounds nice because it would be quick. If I'm not mistaken, you have said in the past that you do all your sets pretty close to back to back, is that right?
I can tell that it increased my strength, noticeably out of the gym.
